Generating content that is relevant to your audience is easy; delivering unique, creative, connected content that serves a needs and inspires is significantly more difficult. This talk will look at the role of creativity and storytelling in a hyper-connected world. And, the need for a razor-sharp, focused strategy to hold it all together.

  • 09:45 – 10:30

The debate over whether retaining customers is more valuable than acquiring new ones has been going on for as long as I can remember. Historically marketers have done little to drive retention, today this can no longer be the case as the cost of switching is so low and customers have more choice than ever before.

  • 10:45 – 11:15

    Day 1 Morning Coffee Break

  • 11:00 – 11:45

Social media needs to use content that draws on context and relevance. The point of maintaining a human touch in social media marketing is essential for authenticity. So why do some brands get it so wrong? What are they missing when it comes to their social media marketing?

  • 11:45 – 12:30

We talk a lot about the pressures on brands to perform and about the difficulties of staying competitive in huge and rapidly changing markets. Nevertheless, global brands experienced a 12 percent increase in value in 2014 – and there are powerful lessons for all those responsible for brands in how they did that.

  • 13:00 – 14:00

    Day 1- Lunch

  • 14:00 – 14:45

Consumers can now engage with a company in a physical store, on an online website or mobile app, through a catalog, or through social media. They can access products and services by calling a company on the phone, by using an app on their mobile smartphone, or with a tablet, a laptop, or a desktop computer. Each piece of the consumer’s experience should be consistent and complementary. What steps should companies and brands be taking to achieve this?

  • 17:30 – 19:00

    Networking Drinks

  • 08:45 – 09:20

  • 08:50 – 09:00

    Chairperson Overview

  • 09:00 – 09:45

TransferWise was founded on radical transparency. As Estonians living in London, co-founders Taavet Hinrikus and Kristo Kaarmann sent money abroad a lot. But they always got less than they expected. It turned out that while their banks were touting low fees, they were giving them bad exchange rates. The system wasn't transparent. They started TransferWise to change that. To give people a fair rate – while also charging low fees.

  • 09:45 – 10:30

Looking back at past decades, it’s easy to see how much the approach to communicating with customers has evolved. Since the turn of the century, the volume of brands and services making noise means that now it’s customer experience (and partly convenience) that takes centre stage. Brands need to consistently look at the way that they can improve the customer experience.

  • 11:00 – 11:45

    Fireside Chat: Authenticity vs Influencer

  • 11:45 – 12:30

In this talk Dan & Zoe will discuss through case studies and customer insights, how data is used to build a lovable brand.

  • 12:30 – 13:30

    Lunch Break

  • 14:00 – 14:45

Generating a Content Strategy that Speaks to the Youth

  • 15:00 – 16:00

    Coffee/End of Summit

Don't just take our word for it

  • All the speakers were great! I learned more in the time I’ve been here than when I’ve been in almost any other conference in a long time.

    Blandine Jean- Paul, Hasbro, Boston

  • It’s really impressive the diversity of speakers that have been brought up here today and the content they’re presenting. You have a really engaged audience which is nice - the questions are thoughtful and interesting and we’re learning a lot.

    Alex Silberman, Monster, Boston

  • It was super fascinating, it’s really interesting to hear from so many different industries which is not very common.  These are all very very different businesses but seeing where we overlap and where we can learn from each other I think is spectacular.

    Brian Moroz, Google, Boston
