    Opening remarks

  • Data Management & Strategy

    09:00 – 09:30

UOB Group Head of Enterprise Artificial Intelligence (AI) will present about the journey driving group agenda in developing strategy, partnerships, advanced analytics and engineering capabilities in empowering the effective practice of data science and artificial intelligence, which calls for aligned efforts and contribution of engagement managers, strategists, data scientists and machine learning engineers.

  • Data Management & Strategy

    09:30 – 10:00

Designing and validating models is only one part of a whole data science project. There is a gap to bridge to go from design to business value. Having these models running in production is the only way to create lasting measurable value for a business. And today production issues are the main reason many companies fail to see real benefits come from their data science efforts. During this presentation, we will first understand what « to go into production » means and then consider actionable steps to build production-ready data science projects

  • Data Management & Strategy

    10:00 – 10:30

As the 4th most populated country in the world with more than 260 million people, the E-commerce penetration of Indonesia is only around 2%. Tokopedia's mission is to democratise commerce through technology. The data journey of Tokopedia has gone through the early Ad-hoc analysis and automated reports & BI Dashboards stages before coming to the self-service analytics stage.

  • AI Applications & Gaming

    11:30 – 12:00

The intersection between gaming and data has resulted in the spectacular yet unrecognised data ability of gaming companies. Personalised marketing is a "cliche" yet special one. Personalised marketing in gaming helps to increase the activity of the users and at the same time, attract new ones. This has been achieved due to precisive data collection and message tailoring.

  • AI Applications & Gaming

  • AI Applications & Fintech

    14:30 – 15:00

Artificial Intelligence tools can learn and monitor user’s behavioural patterns to identify rarity and warning signs of fraud attempts and incidences. By leveraging Artificial Intelligence and handling a vast amount of data in a small period, not only the processing time but also the cost will be saved, while the customer experience enhanced. Even with self-learning abilities, AI systems can adapt to new undiscovered cases and further increase the detection capacity.

    AI in Healthcare

  • Social session

    10:45 – 11:00

Take a simple and very powerful practice of stretching, breathing and mindfulness. It’s simple in that it’s effortless to follow and do. It’s powerful because it can help you to relax truly, manage the stress, train your attention and enhance interpersonal communication so you will be prepared more than ever to benefit from the following event sessions.

  • Track 1

    12:00 – 12:30

This talk will focus on the following issues:

    • How to leverage cognitive technologies in over 10 product deployments, ranging from chat, voice, video bots and NLP development

    • AI technology is more accessible now than ever before, but traps await those who apply the technology unwarily.

    • A couple of specific examples are presented of audio AI systems that don’t behave quite as you might expect.

    • With machine learning approaches to audio processing, careful design is still required. This lesson is perhaps more evident in audio processing than in other fields. Instead of designing algorithms we must now create: 1) appropriate cost functions and benchmarking schemes; 2) training and development sets that will generalise well to the people and places in which your technology will be deployed; and 3) domain-specific data normalisation and augmentation schemes

    Track 2

    12:30 – 13:00

As the leader of a data team, aligning technologies with the company's business initiative is only one of the many challenges. Another common one is about team management.

    • How to attract, hire and retain the talents you want?

    • How to keep the team "synced" with the company's growth and pace?

    • How to embrace new technologies and sustain self-breakthroughs?

  • 13:00 – 14:00
