Sandeep Raj

Sandeep is a marketing, business development & entrepreneurial leader with experience in launching and scaling businesses in the internet industry in APAC & India. Previously, he has been part of the launch team for Amazon (India), responsible for handling marketing and business development for launching Amazon, setting up (from scratch) and managing regional books, music and movies marketplace business. He was among the first 10 employees of the marketplace business team in India. Sandeep also cofounded a start up in South East Asia based out of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, raising close to 6 million USD in funding. He handled business development/marketing strategy and execution for 7 SEA markets, built teams from scratch across 7 markets in the APAC region- Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam & Hong Kong. Sandeep holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (one of the top business schools in Asia), majoring in Marketing & Operations.

He is currently the Regional Marketing & Country Operations Head, HOOQ for Singtel.
