Michelle is Head of Digital Strategy at News Corp Australia, where she identifies trends and opportunities within digital and develops the strategic positioning for News Corp in market that helps in driving digital revenue for the business.
Starting her career 12 years ago in digital media, spending the majority of her time at media agencies, where Michelle has worked across major global and local brands within FMCG (P&G, Nestle), Auto, Finance and Retail. Since then at News Corp, Michelle has strategically aligned the varied video assets into one proposition, helping to pivot in video and drive growth in video revenue moving into FY20.
Michelle is a guest lecturer at University Technology Sydney, teaching students studying buyer behavior, the key principles of digital media and in 2019, was announced as one of the top 20 emerging leaders from the AdNews emerging leader’s awards.
Michelle advocates for supporting women and does so through mentoring others and working with a women’s organisation called Lou’s Place who provide support for women in need and help them rebuild their lives.
