Solid experience in computational science and new energy area. Current work and interest focus on applications of AI, big data and cloud computing in new energy power system, including the system design, project development, and O&M.
Prior to China Resources Power Technology Research Institute, Chuikuan managed Wind Measurement team at Goldwind Science & Technology in Beijing. He also lead a team at Aerodynamic Research Institute AVIC inHarbin.
Chuikuan had PhD degree in Engineering Science from Southampton, the UK.
Eco-friendly and cost-effective power system towards smart cities
Using AI, big data and cloud computing (ABC) technologies, the next-generation power system of cities can be established. The frameworks of smart power systems towards smart cities are employing some state-of-the-art technologies, thoughts, and methodologies, such as the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), the ubiquitous Power Internet of Things (UPIOT), predictive maintenance, the forecasting for power generation and consumption, power trading and markets. The pervasiveness and effectiveness of ABC technologies in the power system evolution are demonstrating increasingly the reality towards both the eco-friendly and cost-effective power system in cities, and the process implies tremendous business opportunities.
