Caroline Hugall is Group Brand Strategy Director at IAG (Insurance Australia Group).
Caroline is also the Founder of How Did She Get There, a website that highlights and celebrates women and their career successes within the media, creative and arts industries. Caroline advocates for women’s leadership and inclusiveness.
From 2012 to 2017 Caroline was Senior Planner at Mondelez International where she ran brand strategy, creative excellence and media connections for brands including Oreo, Ritz, Wheat Thins and Triscuit.
From 2010-2012 Caroline was Planning Director at Ogilvy & Mather New York where she worked across clients including Unilever’s Dove Soap, IKEA and Fanta. She was awarded a Gold and Bronze Effie for her work on IKEA.
From 2006-2010 Caroline was Senior Strategist at Naked Communications running Global Integrated Marketing Campaigns for Coca-Cola and their partnership with the FIFA World Cup. Her work with Nokia on their eco-program won a Grand-Prix at the International Green Awards.
Caroline’s 15-year career experience sees a solid combination of classical planning, media planning, creative excellence and integrated strategic marketing skills across a range of global brands including Oreo, Halls, Coke, Fanta, Nokia, IKEA and Dove.
Caroline holds a degree in Economics (Social Science) from the University of Sydney. She is a Guest Lecturer at NYU Stern School of Business.
