Angus explored what the perceived role of a CMO is versus the reality. Together with the audience he discussed what the key traits are to be successful and dive down into the realities of the role in large multinationals.

He also discussed the importance of individual versus team motivation, the effects of the changing marketing landscape brought on by digital innovation, the importance of focus and getting the basics right. Last but not least he dispelled that he does not have $1million in his bottom draw just waiting for that amazing marketing idea to be pitched.
